The app does not auto-save. You have to manually save or export after each action. This means if you switch tools, you lose your changes unless you save first. This design choice has a clear upside. You can jump straight to what you need without navigating through a document manager. The downside is that multitasking is clunky. Editing a PDF, then wanting to compress it, requires saving the edited version, then opening the compress tool, and uploading the saved file again. The app does not remember your previous file. It also does not support batch processing across different tools. You cannot edit and compress in one go. You have to do each step separately. This is fine for quick edits but becomes tedious for complex workflows.

When Edit Meets OCR: A Workflow Analysis

The Edit tool lets you modify text and images directly. The OCR tool converts scanned PDFs into searchable and editable text. The combination is powerful but has a catch. You cannot run OCR and then immediately edit the same file within the same session. You have to OCR the file, save it as a new PDF, then open the Edit tool and upload that new PDF. The app treats each tool as a separate module. There is no integrated workflow where you can OCR and edit in one seamless flow. The app does not show the total cost before you upload. You upload the file, get a quote, and then decide. This pay-per-page model is transparent but can be expensive for long documents. The Play Store has only 68 reviews, which is low for an app with 1K+ downloads. This suggests either low engagement or that users are not motivated to leave feedback. The Unanswered Message Strategy: A Niche Use-Case

One strategy that emerges from the tool-centric design is the "unanswered message" approach. You can use the Translate tool to convert a PDF into a different language, then use the Edit tool to add annotations or comments in that language. This is useful for international collaboration. You translate a contract into Spanish, then add comments in Spanish, and send it to a colleague. The app preserves the layout, so the translated document looks professional. The free 5-page limit is enough for short documents like cover letters or summaries. For longer documents, you can split the PDF into smaller parts using the Split tool, translate each part, and then merge them back together using the Merge tool. This workaround is not documented anywhere. It requires you to think through the tool combinations yourself. The app does not guide you through this process. You have to figure it out by trial and error. The Split tool lets you split by page count or by file size. The Merge tool lets you combine multiple PDFs and reorder pages. Together, they enable a workflow where you can translate a long document in chunks without paying for the entire document at once. The limitation is that you have to manage multiple files manually. There is no built-in way to translate and merge automatically. This is a niche use-case that only emerges from combining the Split, Translate, and Merge tools in sequence.
