Opening the app for the first time

The moment you install Eventos SP: Profissionais and tap the icon, you are met with a login screen that asks for credentials provided by the cooperative. This is not an app you can just browse anonymously. You need an account that is linked to your worker profile. The screen is simple, almost bare, with two fields for email and password and a small "forgot password" link below. There is no demo mode, no tour, no skip button. If you do not have an account, the app is useless from the first second. This immediately tells you who this app is built for: people who are already part of the Eventos SP cooperative system.

Once you log in, the home screen loads a list of available job offers. These appear as cards with the event name, date, location, and a brief description. The interface is functional but not polished. The font is small, the buttons are basic, and there is no onboarding flow to explain what each icon does. You are left to figure it out by tapping around. The alert bell in the top right corner is the most prominent element, and it makes sense because the app's core promise is to notify you when new work appears. But the first impression is that this app prioritizes utility over design.

Scrolling through the offers, you notice that each card has an "Accept" button. Tapping it immediately adds the job to your agenda. There is no confirmation pop-up, no second step. One tap and the job is yours. This is efficient for a worker who needs to grab shifts quickly, but it also means there is no room for error. If you tap by mistake, you have to contact the cooperative directly to undo it. The app does not give you a way to retract an acceptance on your own.

How the agenda and financial control work together

The agenda is where the app shows its real structure. Every job you accept appears in a calendar view, color-coded by status: confirmed, pending, or completed. You can tap any entry to see more details, such as the shift time, the address, and the contact person for that event. What is interesting is how this agenda ties directly to the financial control section. When you mark a job as completed, the system automatically adds the corresponding payment amount to your earnings tracker. This is not just a separate ledger; it is a live feed that updates based on your completed shifts.

This creates a workflow where your schedule and your income are dynamically linked. For example, if you accept five events in a week, the financial tab will show a running total of what you have earned so far, broken down by each completed job. You can see which events paid more, which ones are still pending payment, and when you can expect the deposit. The app does not just store your earnings; it calculates them in real time based on the jobs you have actually finished. This is useful for workers who need to track their monthly income without keeping a separate spreadsheet.

However, there is a catch. The app does not allow you to manually adjust any financial entry. If a payment is delayed or if there is a dispute about the amount, you cannot edit the figure in the app. You have to go through the cooperative's support email, which is listed in the settings. This means the financial control feature is only as accurate as the data the cooperative feeds into it. If the cooperative makes a mistake, you are stuck with that number until they fix it on their end.

Real-world performance and daily use

In practice, the app works reliably for its primary functions. Notifications arrive promptly when new offers are posted. The agenda updates without lag, and the QR code check-in feature, which is available on the event detail page, scans quickly using the phone's camera. The check-out process is equally smooth. You scan a QR code at the end of your shift, and the app marks the job as completed. This is a solid system for tracking attendance and preventing disputes about whether a worker showed up.

That said, the app has some rough edges. The design feels dated, with a color scheme that looks like it was chosen in 2015. The text on some buttons is cut off on smaller screens. There is no dark mode, and the app does not rotate to landscape. These are minor inconveniences, but they add up over a full workday. More importantly, the app does not have a built-in messaging system. If you need to communicate with the event organizer or the cooperative, you have to use external channels like WhatsApp or email. This forces you to switch between apps constantly.

Another issue is the lack of offline access. The app requires a constant internet connection. If you are at a venue with poor signal, you cannot view your agenda or check in. This is a significant drawback for workers who are often in large convention centers or outdoor spaces where connectivity is spotty. The app does not cache any data, so every action requires a round-trip to the server. This also means that loading times depend entirely on your network speed.

The document management and its limitations

The online document section is where the app stores your work-related files, such as contracts, payment receipts, and proof of attendance. These are uploaded by the cooperative, not by you. You can view them, download them as PDFs, or share them via email. This is convenient for keeping all your paperwork in one place. However, you cannot upload your own documents. If you have a certificate or a training record that you want to attach to your profile, there is no option to do so. The document management is read-only from the worker's perspective.

The app also does not have a search function for documents. If you have dozens of receipts, you have to scroll through the entire list to find the one you need. There is no folder structure or tagging system. The documents are simply listed in reverse chronological order. This works for a small number of files but becomes cumbersome over time. The app's privacy policy, which is accessible from the settings, states that data is not shared with third parties, but it does not specify how long documents are retained or whether you can request deletion. This lack of transparency is a concern for workers who handle sensitive personal information.
