You cannot browse the app. You cannot see any demo data. The app does not explain where to get this code. Some schools publish it on their website, others send it via SMS, and a few print it on the fee receipt. The registration process also requires a username and password. No social login. No guest mode. This means the app is useless unless your child's school has already registered with Cisoft Technologies and given you the code. Once you enter the correct code, the app asks for your relationship to the student. Parent, guardian, or other. Then you enter your child's name or admission number. The app pulls up the student profile if the school has uploaded the data. If not, you see a blank dashboard. The dashboard has six tabs: Students Info, News & Events, Attendance, Class Timetable, School SMS Interface, and Exam Details. The tabs are labeled clearly. The font is readable. The layout is basic but functional. The real test comes when you tap on Attendance.

The SMS Interface and Exam Details: A Two-Step Workflow

The School SMS Interface is not a messaging app. It is a one-way communication channel. The school sends SMS alerts to parents through this interface. The app displays these alerts in a log. You cannot reply. You cannot start a conversation. You only receive. This is useful for urgent announcements like "School closed tomorrow" or "Fee payment deadline extended." The Exam Details tab shows the student's marks for each subject. The marks are entered by the school. The app does not allow parents to add or edit anything. This is a read-only system. The two features interact in a specific way: when exam results are published, the school sends an SMS alert through the interface. The parent opens the app, sees the SMS, and then navigates to Exam Details to check the actual marks. This workflow assumes the parent checks the app regularly. There is no push notification for new exam results. The SMS is the trigger. If the parent misses the SMS, they might not know the results are available.
