Opening the app: what happens first

The app launches straight to a map view. A radar overlay shows precipitation in your area. The current temperature sits at the top. Below that, a horizontal strip displays hourly forecasts for the next 48 hours. Swipe left, and you get the 7-day outlook. Swipe again, and the 30-day trend appears. The interface is dense but readable. Everything is on one screen. You do not need to tap through menus to find basic information. That is the core design choice: put all the data in front of the user immediately.
